Every August, (or whenever we can!) we celebrate that most sacred of holiday traditions, The Tony Danza Seafood Extravaganza. Your probably wondering…why would anyone celebrate such a thing? And who the heck is Tony Danza?

Tony Danza (born Anthony Salvatore Iadanza on April 21, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American actor best known for starring on the TV series Taxi and Who’s the Boss?, for which Danza was nominated for an Emmy Award and four Golden Globe Awards. In 1998, Danza won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Male Performer in a New Television Series for his role on the sitcom The Tony Danza Show.
Why is Tony Danza worthy of his own seafood celebration? Do you have to ask? is what we say. There are many reasons why, but only one is important enough to mention, and is simply this: he is the boss.
As usual, our 2009 Tony Danza Seafood Extravaganza was not only a blast, but, as benefiting the traditions, a time for some EXTREME FAMILY INTERACTION.

The Dirty Danza
2 oz gin
1 tbsp dry vermouth
2 tbsp olive juice
